§ 2 MISSION  STATEMENT
The St. Augustine & AWK International e.V. is a benevolent and non-profit relief organisation for the benefit of the victims of hurricane Katrina 2005.

 The aims of the organisation will be achieved by

• Benefit Actions and Fund Raisings
• Membership fee for the St. Augustine Church Tremé – the eldest Catholic Afro-American parish of the USA
• Supporting the AWK Arabi Wrecking Krewe Inc. – the New Orleans local relief organisation for the resurrection with volunteers
• Arranging man-power support for the Arabi Wrecking Krewe Inc. New Orleans
• Cooperation with the Dutch Stichting New Orleans Dusty Duds – Maastricht

St. Augustine & AWK International e.V. has officially been accepted by the state-tax-agency as being a benevolent and non-profit organization.

The Relief Organization since August 24th 2006 has been registered by the legal court of Eschweiler. Reg.Nr. = VR 802.
